We Must Stop This Horrendous Blow To The Constitution, and Our Inherent Rights, Liberties, and Freedoms
It is truly amazing to me how apathetic Americans can truly be. I fear that the past apathy is soon to catch up with us. The old adage; “My Vote Does Not Count” is about to bite us in the butt. Many Americans have taken this attitude thinking the next guy would do his part when in fact no one was attending to their inherent responsibility. When we have an average of 35 percent turning out to vote that is pathetic, yet the politicians and media praise the people when 40 percent turn out. What a shame. Now this average of 35 percent is referring to registered voters which makes the figures even more dismal as many are not even registered. Look back in history at the battles that have taken place by way of public protest etc just to get the right to vote. Now we take it for granted.
With 35 percent voting on average the career politicians in Washington can easily manipulate legislation, and agendas. Special interest groups and lobbyist can easily sway congressional, and senate voting at this low percentage rate. Id it any wonder that major corporation have seized so much power in Washington? The American people abandoned it. Do you not think opportunists or people with selfish agendas would not cease this spectacular opportunity. Now that they have we gripe, and complain. Well you may as well stop complaining. What is left to do is awaken, and resume your responsibility, and power. You have major power in that single vote. Far more than you realize.
We currently have Senate Bill 1959 in committee in the Senate. This legislation is one of the most dangerous Bills in History. It directly attacks our constitution, or constitutional 1st, and 4th amendment rights. Its wording is such that it can easily be used to label you or I a terrorist for disagreeing with government. It can charge you with being a terrorist for just having the power to persuade a elected official to go against the agenda of Washington’s Executive branch. Do not take my word for it. Type in Senate Bill 1959 in Google Search, and find out for yourself. Mainstream media sure is not going to tell you. They have betrayed the American people grossly by not giving full details, and by not covering critically important issues.
This Bill, Senate Bill 1959 passed the house as HR Bill 1955. 404 congressmen voted yes, and only 6 voted no. Some did not vote. This sends a clear signal to those that are paying attention. It tells me that the majority, and I mean a large majority of our elected official are not the slightest bit concerned with our Republic. They are more concerned with being a career politicians than they are holding to the oath of office they took to protect the constitution. It is treason in my eyes. What else is it. These politicians need to be promptly voted out of office, and sent home to consider their err in judgment if not be held accountable in a court of law.
Every time I hear one of the turncoats in Washington stand up and go on about this great democracy it makes me sick. If they do not know the form of government they are in Washington to help administrate then they need to get the hell out of Washington. We are a Republic, not a Democracy. Our founding fathers feared a democracy. They new a true democracy would be as fatal as a dictatorship. No before you even think it they are not synonymous words. There is a major distinctive difference between a Democracy and a Republic.
These succinct definitions of what is Democracy and what is a Republic was produced by the US Army in 1928, These definitions have been quietly withdrawn since, soon after.
Democracy:
A government of the masses.
Authority derived through mass meeting or any other form of “direct” expression.
Results in mobocracy.
Attitude toward property is communistic-negating property rights.
Attitude toward law is that the will of the majority shall regulate. whether it be based upon deliberation or governed by passion, prejudice, and impulse, without restraint or regard to consequences.
Results in demagogism license, agitation, discontent, anarchy.
Democracy is the “direct” rule of the people and has been repeatedly tried without success.
A certain Professor Alexander Fraser Tytler, nearly two centuries ago, had this to say about Democracy: ” A Democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of Government. It can only exist until the voters discover they can vote themselves largess out of public treasury. From that moment on the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that Democracy always collapses over a loose fiscal policy, always to be followed by a Dictatorship.”
A democracy is majority rule and is destructive of liberty because there is no law to prevent the majority from trampling on individual rights. Whatever the majority says goes! A lynch mob is an example of pure democracy in action. There is only one dissenting vote, and that is cast by the person at the end of the rope.
Republic:
Authority is derived through the election by the people of public officials best fitted to represent them.
Attitude toward property is respect for laws and individual rights, and a sensible economic procedure.
Attitude toward law is the administration of justice in accord with fixed principles and established evidence, with a strict regard to consequences.

A greater number of citizens and extent of territory may be brought within its compass.
Avoids the dangerous extreme of either tyranny or mobocracy. Results in statesmanship, liberty, reason, justice, contentment, and progress.
Is the “standard form” of government throughout the world.
A republic is a form of government under a constitution which provides for the election of:
an executive and
a legislative body, who working together in a representative capacity, have all the power of appointment, all power of legislation all power to raise revenue and appropriate expenditures, and are required to create
a judiciary to pass upon the justice and legality of their governmental acts and to recognize
certain inherent individual rights.
Take away any one or more of those four elements and you are drifting into autocracy. Add one or more to those four elements and you are drifting into democracy.
Our Constitutional fathers, familiar with the strength and weakness of both autocracy and democracy, with fixed principles definitely in mind, defined a representative republican form of government. They “made a very marked distinction between a republic and a democracy and said repeatedly and emphatically that they had founded a republic.”
A republic is a government of law under a Constitution. The Constitution holds the government in check and prevents the majority (acting through their government) from violating the rights of the individual. Under this system of government a lynch mob is illegal. The suspected criminal cannot be denied his right to a fair trial even if a majority of the citizenry demands otherwise.
Democracy:
a: government by the people; especially : rule of the majority.
b: a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections.
Attitude toward law is that the will of the majority shall regulate, whether it be based upon deliberation or governed by passion, prejudice, and impulse, without restraint or regard to consequences
Republic
a: a government having a chief of state who is not a monarch and who in modern times is usually a president : a political unit (as a nation) having such a form of government.
b: a government in which supreme power resides in a body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by elected officers and representatives responsible to them and governing according to law.
As you can see there is a vast difference. So why have they tried in earnest to condition citizens that what we are. Simple. They know they can achieve their agenda. They can control legislation, and sway the small percentage of voter turn out to suite their individual whims, and I assure you it is not in the interest of the AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE.
