Americas Realities Clarified (A.R.C)
As we move further into the 2008 Election year it has become very apparent that a historical event is in the making. In times past we have experienced voter turnout at highs of 35 to 40 percent. Mainstream media has stroked the American Citizens ego for such a wonderful turnout. It is utterly disgusting! Our vote is the most powerful tool we have in the Great Republic in which we live. Sound odd…Republic. Well time to wake up. We live in what is suppose to be, was meant to be a Republic (”I pledge allegiance to the Flag, and to the republic for which it stands”). It is more of a hodgepodge of a Republic mixed with Democracy, sprinkled with flavors of Socialism, and more recently a dash of Tyranny.
I believe due to all of these added ingredients this is the reason for so much disenfranchised debate. We have witnessed men Like Congressman Ron Paul come on the seen, and garner up a tremendous following. Congressman Kucinich made his mark, and then there is Senator Mike Gravel with the National Initiative for Democracy (NI4D) that is still marching, and marching strong seeking the libertarian ticket.
If the Libertarian party has half a brain they will embrace Senator Gravel as they have no other candidate in times past. His fresh new innovative ideas line up directly with their platform more than any other out there. HEY LIBERTARIANS TALKING TO YOU! Oh there is the chance Bob Barr may jump in there. He does not quite sink with the libertarian platform. He carries much baggage that ties to other platforms. If I were a libertarian, might change, do not know, but If today I were I would be swinging left , and right for Senator Mike Gravel. Talking about shouting from the roof tops, and you all know how big of a mouth I have. You would here me.
Senator Gravel certainly is deserving of a brief pause here. This man, Senator Mike Gravel brought about the Pentagon Papers. He has been involved in several historical events while serving Alaska as Senator. I highly respect any “MAN” that even though the crooks and Liar’s of D.C. at the time threatened him with jail did not deter from doing what was morally corect, and just, and in the best interest of this Nation. The “man” truly will go down in history as a National Hero. Where is that kind of patriotism, and integrity in Washington today? Hello is anybody out there?
Each , and everyone of these men had different ideas about how to bring the needed change. The common thread in all these men was and still is in Gravel’s campaign is the empowerment of the American people. An America that once again involves itself in the governance of our nation.
Sadly, and most unfortunate for the country mainstream media blocked them out. I salute Senator Mike Gravel, he will not be shut out! Watch this man. Anyone watching the debates will certainly attest to this. It became a joke. Mainstream shaped, and modeled it that way, and the American Citizens bought it. Lock, stock, and barrel. As with most other injustices we are seeing more frequently it would almost appear that Americans are complicit. America has not yet reached that level of moral depravity Yet. It is simply the result of a little know (publicly) science called Engineering Consent also referred to as Manufacturing Consent. Stop! Conspiracy theorist beware. This could have you searching your closets for aliens. On a more serious note Engineering Consent is an old science. I do not have the time nor room here to fully explain this rather simple, yet extraordinarily powerful psychological technique. I will however give you enough information to search it out very easily.
Sigmund Freud has been given the honor of having conceived this process. However it was his third cousin Edward L. Bernays that introduced it into the American culture. Bernay’s is listed in the top 100 influential men of this century, and carries the title of “Father of Public Relations” He first introduced this technique to Corporate America in the late 20’s. It proved to be incredibly powerful, and a direct result of this is our huge Department stores, Malls and other portals of consumer goods to appease the enormous appetite of the glutinous American materialist. Of course this is just one of many of the results of the implementation of Engineering Consent.
I can just see you now. Balk all you want. Simply look it up, and further investigate Edward Bernay’s. It is all very accessible. There is no conspiracy, or plot involved. Many people that read this article will not take the time to even investigate what I have said. Most will wander off in a state of denial, and soon forget they ever read this. So your not a victim of this? If your one that will walk away without investigating further you just got nailed right in the forehead with it. Not a chance, your saying to yourself “well what is it?”. Go find it yourself. Break away from some of the conditioning you have been exposed to. Read up on it , and you will invariably come back and say, “Wow” your right.
Why do I mention this as I am speaking of Mainstream Media hijacking the debates? Information is the key to engineering consent. By definition it should give you at least a clue as to the intended result. Oh, so now you agree. You have to. We can complain, and protest all day long, but we the American people are truly to blame for the condition this country is in. Well it is the damn politicians in Washington concocting all these ignorant, rights depleting bills, and legislation, right? So, they would not even attempt such madness if the American people had not taken on such an apathetic attitude. The whole scenario is very much like a squatters situation. Remember the old squatters laws? If not you can look that up as well. You may find that there is a lot you need to look up, and catch up on. I will tell you this. You are not going to like what you find when you’re up to speed. Never the less we are like that squatter scenario because, we Americans left home and never came back. A heavy handed government discovered the house vacant, and squatted. It is really that simple. In other words we stepped away, and stopped actively participating in the governance of this country or a large enough number did. That allowed the government to just step all over us poor citizens, and cease control. They were clever. They legislated their way into permanency or did they? They believe they have. But just as with the citizens of this country they too have weaknesses. Again, these weaknesses are so damn obvious they do not even see their eventual demise. Oh you think your so clever. No, not for a second. I just woke the hell up. I have been a die-hard republican to the core. Then wham! It hit me like a ton of bricks one day. You may have it, and if you do you must be smiling , and shaking your head in total agreement right now. I applaud you. I truly do. I hope you are not one like myself that for years walked about completely oblivious to the reality of things.
Now that you have it, and I have finally gotten it I strongly feel that my silence or yours is unmistakable betrayal. We must endeavor in trying to educate an unwary American Citizen in hopes of them awaking as well. Its the only answer period.
To conclude the bit on the media, they own the information. Therefore they own the power, and with that eventually follows the money , and all the wonderfully fuzzy things associated with power. Who owns media? Huge Corporate giants that certainly work in concert with the government showering campaigns with money to gain all sorts of favors , and privilege’s that allow them to make even more money. They have evolved to the point of showing absolutely no regard for the American way of life that actually enabled them to reach such lofty positions. There was a time in this country that big business owners had moral boundaries. That has since disappeared.
I truly feel that there should be legislation introduced into Congress that would disallow Corporate Media to run, and own the debates. If you cannot see my reasoning on this just simply leave the UAS180 site. You never will get it.

Mainstream media should absolutely be allowed to fully cover the debates, and even participate to a degree. It is their Constitutional Right! To own them is far too dangerous as we have seen. The Framers of the Constitution, even then realized the power of information. I find it no coincident that media is the only business mentioned in the entire document. As with any power it has to be checked because, unchecked power is dangerous. Our media is unchecked. Honestly do you feel it would be unreasonable to ask that legislation be drafted , and presented that would order debates to be sponsored , and held in a public controlled format, allowing the media complete , and full access. If they are as honest, and balanced as they claim they would not hesitate to embrace this idea themselves. Lets ask them, and see how honest, and balanced they are. I almost joked sitting here. I could just see Mr. “No Spin” Bill Oreilly spinning right out of his chair at the very thought of that.
After saying all of that is it any wonder that bills are sitting in the Senate right now (S. 1959) that are so ambiguously worded that they could in fact lead to censorship of the Internet? The Internet may very well prove to have been the salvation of this country. If we have a desire to resuscitate Her. The Internet has provided the first opportunity for Americans to reach far across the country to communicate with our fellow citizens, sharing thoughts, and ideas. One of the first revelations was that the public opinion that mainstream media tries to impress upon us is in fact a fabrication of their own, and not even close to being our true opinion.
I challenge you. Go ask several average people in your workplace , college or general area what they think of Senate Bill 1959. Ask them how they feel about the Real I.D.., Ask them how they feel about America paying out an additional 800 Billion plus dollars in foreign aid due to OBAMAS bill Senate 2433 which will obligate us to do so, and that is only the tip of the iceberg when dealing with that nasty little piece of legislation. You yourself may not even know of this.
Who said Obama would not bring change. Whoever said it, thump him in the head. Obama will bring change. He will change the way you live. Who do you think is going to pay for that. We have to date, and these are rough figures, but pretty close , a 9 TRILLION dollar National Debt. A 6 TRILLION dollar trade debt. A 53 TRILLION dollar Entitlements debt i.e. Social Security, Medicaid/Medicare etc…. So what the hell let’s just fork out even more. Try running your personal budget that way. Silly isn’t it?
Are they just that stupid? In good conscience I have to answer no. I even have a little under graduate Bachelors Degree in Economics, and I can see all sorts of flaws in their financial policies. My 15 year old daughter could better handle the nations money simply applying her educational levels principles. Being that some of these guys graduated from Ivy League schools, some are Rhodes Scholars, am I to believe they are that daft? Can I say they are stupid?
