Americas Realities Clarified (A.R.C)
The National Initiative for Democracy, a proposed law involving a constitutional amendment, and a federal statute; a federal law, that would give the people; you and I, a hand in making the laws of our country.
The people participating in the making of laws is not new; California and 23 other states have citizens making laws on a state and local level, voting on bond issues is lawmaking as well.
This law; the national initiative, would in effect apply that ability at the representative government level; the Federal level. Truly empowering the people to participate in the legislative process; law making.
The constitutional amendment, called the democracy amendment, would assert legislative powers to the people, and create an electoral trust to keep citizen law making independent from representative government.
The federal law, called the democracy act, would define law-making procedures to be used by the citizens and the limited power of the electoral trust.
The National Initiative does not change the existing structure, or power of the representative government; it only adds the participation of we the people.
In a nut shell;
The National Initiative for Democracy will allow the American people to vote on every single issue that affects their lives.

And it begins when 60 million Americans VOTE (sign the NI4D) for the National Initiative, and by doing so; making it law without Congress. This takes nothing away from the constitution, it simply adds the needed check of power by the American people. If we can vote on State levels, and on referendums, then we should be able to do the same on a Federal level?
