The end of Free Speech in America has arrived at our doorstep. It’s a new law called the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act, and it is worded in an ambiguous what clever way that could allow the U.S. government to arrest and incarcerate any individual who speaks out against the Bush Administration, the war on Iraq, the Department of Homeland Security or any government agency (including the FDA). The law has already passed the House on a traitorous vote of 405 to 6, and it is now being considered in the Senate where a vote is imminent. All over the Internet, intelligent people who care about freedom are speaking out against this extremely dangerous law.
I as of this day contrary to my many years of donating to politicians, cheer leading and other activities that promoted their candidacies will not for any reason in the foreseeable future lift one finger to help a politician running for office or aid them on any other agenda. I do make exception to a handful. I am given no choice put to use the voting data on HR Bill 1955 Violent Radicalization Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007 as my litmus test. No exception. If a congressman had the audacity to vote yes on this bill which 404 did they are traitors to the American people, and have miserably failed to uphold their oath of office in regard to protecting the Constitution. We Americans have been betrayed. There is no use in candy coating what has happen. If we do not at this point look at this tragic occurrence for what it is we will propel this nation further into tyranny. There have been many things happen in my life time that have been questionable. You hear the American people talk about it, but nothing is ever done. This has always troubled me.
Going back in history I can recall in the 1970’s much talk about the Kennedy, and King assassinations. To this day I cannot understand why on earth did the American people if they were in disbelief as to what happen verses what came out in the Warren Reports, why did they not demand further investigations. If we handle this in that same manner you can kiss America as we know it good bye. You may as well start considering what you are going to tell your children. There is only one thing you can say if we let this slide through, and that is we failed them by being apathetic. Bottom line. No wiggling out of this one. Play time is over. We either stop these treasonous forked tongue demons in their tracks or kiss it all goodbye. I suggest you take time from your materialistic worlds and find out what is going on, and find out what this lot in Washington has done while you have been absent from being a responsible citizen. You can curse me, you can buck, holler, and scream it still is exactly what it is. You now know, and you must act. If you do not act your silence is betrayal, and you become a co-conspirator in this catastrophe. Is that not how it works in a court of law. If you have knowledge, and fail to act, are you not charged as well. I do think so.
The times of candy coating and being politically correct are over. How on earth can a congressman or woman in clear conscience look their constituents in the face after passing this monstrous legislation. Let it be clear now, it was no mistake or misunderstanding. Simple reading of this bill by you, and you will agree. It takes no lawyer to interpret. 404 voted yes, and 6 voted no. A few, 22 that did not cast a vote. I will name the ones that voted no as these are the only ones that could ever in the life of this 110th congress ever get any form of assistance from me in any shape form or fashion. No exception. What you need to do is demand, and answer from your congressman or woman as to why they voted for it. Demand it. They have to respond. Do not take double talk. Demand a straight answer. I will bet you money right now they will avoid an answer. If they avoid answering on a serious matter such as this then how are they different from the Bush Administration they so lovingly ridicule. There are some that voted yes on this bill that are seeking impeachment. I personally sent a fax to the office of one such elected official as to why they voted yes on this bill. I simply wanted to understand why I should support their efforts if they supported HR 1955. Two faxes…NO REPLY! I am finished with these career politicians that are destroying our country, and talking out of both sides of their mouths. I have drawn a line. We have to hold these people accountable. People they have destroyed this great nation. They have literally ripped her apart. Can you not see this nation is hanging by a thread. Look around. Everything is in shambles. I mean every thing. We have become the laughing stock of the world.
It is so utterly amazing how two faced this congress is. They are simply doing and saying enough to appease a half wary public. You had better wake up.
CONGRESSMEN THAT VOTED NO!
Dennis Kucinich (D) Ohio
Jeff Flake (R) Arizona
Dana Rohrabacher (R) California
Neil Abercrombie (D) Hawaii
Jerry Costello (D) Illinois
John Duncan (R) Tennessee
I will make note 22 were not present and did not vote. Ron Paul was campaigning and did not vote. He did however return and made it clear on the house floor he was totally against this legislation.
The bill states:

Ideologically based violence’ means the use, planned use, or threatened use of force or violence by a group or individual to promote the group or individual’s political, religious, or social beliefs…
Note that this means the “planned use of force to promote a political or social belief” would be considered an act of terrorism. This all hinges on the definition of “force,” of course. Based on the loose use of logic in Washington these days, and the slippery interpretation of the meaning of words, “force” could mean:
• A grassroots campaign to barrage Congress with faxes
• A non-violent street protest
• A letter-writing campaign that deluges the Senate with too much mail
• A sit-in protest that blocks access to a business or organization
• A grassroots e-mail campaign that overloads the e-mail servers of any government department or agency
You get the idea. “Force” could be defined as practically anything. And since the “planned use of force” would be considered a criminal act of terrorism, anyone who simply thinks about a grassroots action campaign would be engaged in terrorist acts.
If you stopped someone on the street and handed them a Bible, for example, this could be considered an act of terrorism (”…use of force to promote the individual’s religious beliefs…”)
If you sent a barrage of angry letters to Washington about global warming and the destruction of the environment by the U.S. military, this could also be considered an act of terrorism (”…to promote the individual’s political beliefs…”)
If you believe in same-sex marriage or disagreed for that matter any other issue, and you wrote a letter threatening a sit-in protest in front of your state’s capitol building, this could also be considered an act of terrorism, even if you never carried it out! (”…planned use of force to promote a social belief…”)
The United States is on the fast track to fascism, and the Congress is working right alongside this nation’s traitorous leaders to criminalize any thoughts, words or speeches that disagree with current government policies regarding war, terrorism, domestic surveillance and civil liberties. Simply speaking out against the war on Iraq could soon be labeled a crime. Merely thinking thoughts against the war on Iraq could be considered a criminal act.
